If you have an outdoor space and are looking for a piece that can really set the space off, consider having us install a BBQ for you! Outdoor BBQs are amazing. These devices give a place to gather around for friends and family. They can cook up delicious food while you all relax in your backyard. They can become a focal point for your space. Outdoor BBQs can either exist on their own, being an accessory to your outdoors or they can be built in to an outdoor kitchen.
If you are looking for a way to make your outdoor space functional and fun, an outdoor kitchen could do the trick. In this type of setup, we can, quite literally, build you an entire kitchen that exists outside. Unlike a home kitchen, these spaces don’t use wooden cabinets, rather we construct cabinets out of stone and metal so that they can stand up to nearly any weather condition. Outdoor kitchens will, however, give you the same types of appliances that indoor kitchens will. We can install a sink, a fridge and, obviously, install a nice BBQ for you.
A smaller alternative to an outdoor kitchen is an outdoor BBQ island. In this type of setup, we don’t go crazy, installing sinks and fridges and other appliances, we simply install a nice stone pedestal for your grill to sit inside of. This pedestal is usually constructed to hide natural gas lines or propane tanks, depending on which type of gas you want installed. The pedestal can also house cabinets that will hold your BBQ tools. A BBQ island is a really nice addition to any outdoor space, giving a feature that is not overpowering, but still beautiful and functional.
Natural Gas BBQ
In order to have a functioning BBQ in your backyard, you will need one of two options. The first option is to have your grill run off of a propane tank. This type of BBQ usually sits in a pedestal, with its gas lines extending underneath the pedestal and in to a propane tank filled with gas. The other type of outdoor BQ is one that is fed by natural gas. In this type of BBQ situation, lines are run to your BBQ from a natural gas filter. This type of BBQ is a healthier alternative and safer.
Types of Material
Outdoor BBQs can be built from a variety of different materials. While the BBQ, itself, will always be metal based, the housing around it can differ. We usually construct outdoor BBQs out of either natural stone or brick, because these handle heat diffusion very well. However, outdoor BBQs can also be built from poured concrete. The material we choose to build your BBQ out of comes down to you. We take budget in to account as well as other materials that exist in your backyard already. We want your outdoor BBQ to be cost effective and to compliment your landscaping.
